The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2019 launched today, set to explore all the ways in which we are Connected in a varied programme from 3-26 May. We are so excited to be part of one of Scotland's biggest and most diverse festival, exploring aspects of mental health across the country from the Highlands to the Borders.
The wide-ranging programme will host International Film Awards, visual arts, theatre and the SMHAF Writing Awards, hosted by best-selling author Ian Rankin. It includes events with asylum seekers, travellers, the LGBT community, and families affected by suicide and other traumatic events, focusing on the importance of staying connected to each other, and the impact isolation has on our mental health.
